The term paredolia referenced in 1994 by Steven Goldstein, describes a psychological phenomenon involving a vague and random stimulus (often an image or sound) being perceived as significant. Common examples include images of animals or faces in clouds, the man in the moon, and hidden messages on records played in reverse. The word comes from the Greek para- — beside, with or alongside — and eidolon — image (the diminutive of eidos — image, form, shape). It is real easy to hear what you want to hear mixed in with alot of static. Its just like sitting in a sound proof room,if you listen long enough you will hear stuff. This next one is me and my brother in one room and the recorder in another, all the power in the house is off,you can hear us but real faint. Its strange but it sounds like two spirits are greeting each other and a weird sound in the beginning. Tell me what you think,E-MAIL me. This one is " Shoot Him" ( YOU WILL SUFFER....IN LIFE IN DEATH) (MMMM BAM) (MISSOURI) (THEN WHEN YA...HAVE A GOOD TIME)
It has been a bit since I updated anything on this site, so I thought I would start by dumping a bunch of EVP's on this page. Most of them will be from St Louis Ghost Hunters Society. Various locations. Some are on their site some are not. I wont label them so you can figure out what they say.
